MOVIE REVIEW:
History is larger than life—and twice as funny—in this monumental comedy sequel! Ben Stiller leads an all-star cast (including Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria and Robin Williams) as Larry Daley, a former night watchman at the Museum of Natural History, where the exhibits come to life after dark. But now Larry’s nocturnal friends are being retired to the archives of the Smithsonian Institution, luring him back for a hilarious, all-out battle against museum misfits who plan to take over the Smithsonian...and the world! It was a dark and stormy night...or was it the night before something? Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is as entertaining at the first release. Kids of all ages will enjoy this movie. It's not deep, it's not complicated, but it is a fun watch. If you have been to the Smithsonian, it is interesting to see director Shawn Levy bring exhibits from the world's largest museum to life. And, if you are a "Dexter" fan, there are several "monkey around" items on the bonus disk. Our favorite was taking a "reality day-in-the-life peek" of a typical Hollywood animal's ("Dexter") day.
