Star Trek: Diamond Select Mego-Style Andorian Figure
Review!
Diamond Select is the current license-holder for "collectible"
Star Trek items, especially action figures. They have decided
to reproduce, as accurately as possible, a number of the original
Mego-style Star Trek action figures, right down to mimicking
the package card.

Flashback Review: Power Rangers - Alien Rangers Review!
Zordon recruits five alien Power Rangers from the planet
Aquitar, humanoids that feed on water and have strange watery
voices, to help protect the Earth from Lord Zedd and Rita
Repulsa. The Aquitian Rangers are later seen and referenced
in future Power Rangers series.

Justice League Unlimited: Green Arrow, SuperGirl,
& Ultra-Humanite 3-pack Review!
Green Arrow is likely the best known character in the set,
and he's certainly had a figure prior to this one in the JLU
line. In fact, he was one of the first new characters to show
up in the animated series when it went from the seven-member
Justice League to almost everybody in the JL: Unlimited series.

Planet Heroes: Jupiter - Gustus Figure Review!
Gustus comes with a robot dog. He's bronze in color, with
a single green eye just like his master. He has a blue tail
which allows two appendages, described as wings on the package
but looking more like they were intended to grasp objects,
to pop out of his sides.

Star Wars: Comic Packs - Boba Fett & RA-7 Set
Review!
Is there any character in the Star Wars universe with a
more convoluted history than Boba Fett? The famed bounty hunter
was first introduced in the Star Wars Holiday Special, and
then stole the show with his scenes in Episode IV: The Empire
Strikes Back.

Power Rangers: 15th Anniversary - Operation Overdrive
Red Ranger Figure Review!
The Overdrive Rangers in this concept are a pretty strange
bunch, including an android, a spy-for-hire, a professional
stuntman with a tendency to be a practical joker, a stock
car racer, a genius archaeologist, and the adventurous alien
Mercurian.

G.I. Joe: 2007 Convention - Steeler & Rip It Figure
Reviews!
Originally, the plan was to release two figures, both of
them tank drivers, with recolored versions of the popular
Mauler tank, which was originally released in 1985. The Mauler
was a large and in many respects more sophisticated tank,
and remains a highly popular entry in the world of G.I. Joe.

Planet Heroes: Saturn - Rings Figure Review!
Rings head is encased in a transparent helmet that has a
ring around the center of it. He is outfitted in a distinctive
and striking spacesuit that is predominantly black with significant
amounts of white trim. He is part of the Deluxe series of
Planet Heroes figures and comes with a vehicle. And as one
might expect, the vehicle is designed to be reminiscent of
the planet Saturn, itself.

Star Wars: Romba & Graak - Ewoks Figure Review!
Ewoks are inhabitants of the forest moon of Endor. They
really do look like teddy bears, admittedly moderately fierce
ones. They tend to be around 3-4 feet in height as adults.
They have a primitive, tribal culture and limited technology.
They know how to make and use spears, primitive knives, bows
and arrows.

Super Sentai (Power Rangers) GekiRanger - Purple Ranger
Figure Review!
While there have been previous instances where some alterations
between the Japanese and American concepts have been more
drastic than the usual more-or-less straight bring-over-and-film-the-English-footage.
Japan had the Purple ranger, but the Elephant, Shark, and
Bat Rangers never existed in the Japanese GekiRanger story.

Star Trek: Diamond Select - Mego Style Klingon Figure
Review!
The initial assortment of Mego Star Trek figures consisted
of the four most prominent members of the Enterprise crew:
Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty, later to be joined by Lt.
Uhura, plus a figure of the quintessential enemy, a Klingon.
Although plans existed to make figures of other crew members,
these never came to pass.

G.I. Joe: 8" Combat Squad - Sgt. Boulder Figure
Review!
There's a lot of structural similarities between the 8"
G.I. Joe line and the Commando Elite. They're both reasonably
human in appearance, but somewhat exaggerated. As for the
case at hand, Sgt. Boulder is dressed VERY similarly, color-wise,
to one of the Commandos named Nick Nitro.
